Russia's second-largest online retailer, Ozon, disclosed on October 28, 2026, estimated damages totaling 30.1 billion rubles (equivalent to $373.1 million) resulting from Ukrainian drone attacks targeting approximately a dozen of its warehouses across Russia. These damages include harm to goods for sale, disposal of equipment, impairment losses, and other related expenses, some of which are covered by insurance policies currently under negotiation for compensation.

Despite the impact of these attacks, Ozon reported strong financial performance in the third quarter of 2026. Revenues rose by 60% year-over-year, reaching 421.2 billion rubles ($5.2 billion). However, net profit declined from 10.1 billion rubles in the second quarter of 2026 to 3.7 billion rubles ($45.8 million) in the third quarter. Adjusted EBITDA, which excludes the drone strike losses, was reported at 93 billion rubles ($1.1 billion).

Operationally, Ozon completed 1.2 billion orders in the third quarter, marking a 76% increase from the same period in 2025. On average, each customer places 51 orders per year. Ukraine initiated its air campaign this summer against Ozon and its main competitor, Wildberries, accusing them of aiding the Russian military supply chain.
